Very rude owner who shouted at us for 'driving around in his garden' as we pulled in late on a Tuesday evening having followed Google Maps to Windmill Inn, Littleworth Lane. For some reason Google Maps sends you here instead of a couple of hundred metres down where the actual Windmill Inn pub/rooms are. The confusion stemmed from the location on maps being here + the fact it is an actual B&B too but rather than simply point us on our way (or have a friendly sign indicating it's further down) the owner was really rude approaching me with an awful frown and gruffness as I politely asked if it was the Windmill Inn - his response 'does this look like a pub?!'. I apologised as he continued shouting at me to keep going and telling me I was stupid for using the postcode (which I hadn't). I simply asked if I was in the right place/for direction given this clearly wasn't it. I mentioned it at The Windmill Inn when we arrived as he had been quite aggressive - seems to be something the owner is known for. As for your comment on the other bad review - when you work in the service industry how you show up is your service and shouting at a young woman who is asking a simple question is poor service. Get a simple sign, an attitude makeover or try another profession.

A wonderful B&B and an even more wonderful host! From here, there are plenty of possibilities of cities, sights and gardens to visit. Thank you so much for your kindness, service and the nice chats during our stay. We would have loved to stay longer.

Myself and husband stayed just before Christmas. We could not fault our stay. Very covid secure. Lovely breakfast in our room each morning too. My husband particularly liked the dogs, very friendly.

We were lost and asked for directions, the owner was incredibly rude to us. When friends told us they were looking for somewhere to stay in the area, we told them definitely don't book here!

The owner Sarah was very quick to respond to queries and flexible with our check in time which was great. Their home is in a lovely location. We chose it as it's near to South Lodge Spa. The B&B is immaculately clean and tidy and the room was just perfect. A great size, well-appointed, lovely wallpaper, great en suite and a beautiful view over the garden and fields. Room service breakfast (during Covid) was an added bonus. I cant remember the last time I'd had breakfast in bed. Our stay felt luxurious and very welcoming. Thank you!

Fantastic stay with absolutely wonderful hosts. Superbly clean accommodation. Amazing breakfast. Hosts couldn't do enough for us, would thoroughly recommend staying here.
