Great experience working with Earthy Timber on a small part of our long running house project. We have a mock Tudor 1930s property which has a lot of wood running through the building. While tackling the downstairs WC at the end of '23 we needed a piece of something to mount a small sink on and just couldn't find the right thing. I somehow stumbled across Earthy Timber on google and emailed them - they came up with some great ideas straight away and a had a piece of natural wood in mind. Even though it was only a small project they have real passion for what they do and were super helpful throughout. Will definitely use again. pic attached :-)

Overall we have had an amazing service and received a beautiful table from Earthy Timber. Yes it's strange having to pay £12 for a quote ...but perhaps it gets rid of the time wasters? They must do it for a reason. Eventually I just decided I liked their table designs so much it was worth £12 to find out if we could have one. The quote came back much too high for me but after a few chats we found a price/size/design that worked for us all. So don't be put off by this process. Anna was fantastic at keeping me up to date during the 5 months it took to make our bespoke table. Both Anna and Adam personally delivered it to our new home and they are gorgeous people too who care so very much for the product that they produce. We loved buying from them and supporting a small family business. We now have an amazing piece of art as a dining table in our forever home thanks to their passion for wood and creativity.

Our english Walnut dining table and side table are absolutely stunning. The quality of work, finish and artistry of design is outstanding. We have two unique pieces that are more art than furniture. We initially contacted Anna at Earthy Timber when we had no more than a vague idea of what we wanted, other than it should be beautiful; and after sending some photos of our kitchen and an outline of our idea to extend our kitchen island, a plan was hatched. When Adam and Anna visited to measure up and do a site survey we saw Adam’s creativity shine as he came up with new suggestions for the plan. He clearly understood what we wanted, and at that point the project changed from being a piece of carpentry to a piece of art with a function in our home. Once a price was agreed Adam indicated that an increase in the thickness of the oak would be needed for it to look right in the environment of our home, but there was no additional change for this. Anna was always responsive to our emails and we were lucky enough to see some photos of the massive slice of an old oak tree, that had fallen in Germany, that Adam would work on to become our kitchen island extension. Adam is only interested in working with trees which have fallen naturally or had to be cut down because they were diseased. If he thinks they will have an attractive grain and interesting features, he “harvests” them to give them a new life in his workshop. Adam and Anna are two of the friendliest people we’ve met and every interaction with them is positive and enthusiastic. Their company is a pleasure to deal with and they have the rare quality of being able to inject fun into their work and customer interactions. When the long-awaited day of installation arrived, Adam’s enthusiasm and pride for what he had created was infectious and it was exhilarating to see him working in our kitchen with fellow craftsman Mike. The finished product exceeds all possible expectations, and every detail exudes quality that has been thoughtfully and carefully considered. It is truly a piece of architectural art which will become a working centrepiece of our kitchen. It’s very solid, very beautiful and very tactile. Just received our second piece that we have commissioned from Earthy Timber, the first being a stunning 4m x 1m Oak table that we've enjoyed many a summers evening dinning at and still looks as good as the the day it was delivered 3 years ago! We absolutely love our table and breakfast bar which Anna delivered personally along with a bunch of flowers - such a lovely touch! The attention to detail and personal consultation throughout the process made it such a positive experience. Both the table and bar have revolutionised our family life and are so practical (you can put hot drinks etc directly on the surface) as well as looking really beautiful. I ordered four oak shelves from Earthy Timber early this year and have just ordered four more. The wood is simply precious and delicately crafted to showcase and preserve its natural beauty. Earthy Timber did a fantastic job to make us an L shaped breakfast bar for our new kitchen. The worktop was made from two planks of oak. The team gave us a bespoke piece with part live, part square finish on the seating side of the breakfast bar. They created robust supports for the overhang and a beautiful mitre finish to join pieces into an L shape. Anna’s service was brilliant and very thorough. There was even a mistake with the measurements from our carpenter, which Anna identified and then made sure the 30 mm length error was corrected before they started the work. We are particularly pleased we invested in the waterproof finish. This was totally worth it, as we never have to oil the worktop. All we do is wipe it clean with water and it comes up beautifully, mark-free, every time. We highly recommend investing in this wonderful rustic oak worktop, which gives our home a unique, warm and homely feel.

We are so happy with our new feature wall Earthy Timber produced for our kitchen! The craftsmanship and sheer quality of the finished product is second to none as one can see from the photos, however what you can't see or know until you deal with Anna and Adam is the consistently brilliant customer service. From the very first meeting in Lewes, to delivery of the finished product at our house in Surrey, we were delighted with everything. Thank you so much Anna for all your help.
