We got there on a very busy Saturday evening but service was still good and we didn’t wait too long for service or food. I had a very good curry that was definitely a cut above what one is normally served It was a pleasant atmosphere and environment, not too noisey. Went back a second time, somewhat earlier on Saturday. The staff were pleasant and reasonably attentive. The menu was pretty good. I decided to try the curry again and felt although tasty, this time the prawns were tough and the presentation unimaginative. My partner had the liver which was a bit tough. I’d have given it 3.5 stars this time rather than the 4 I awarded before.

Went recently for a marquee style Xmas meal with a live band. The food was quite poor. The marquee, however, was pretty good, hence two stars. Not enough staff serving at the bar. So very long waits and orders not taken in the order of the customers in the queue. Ended up leaving early. The three course set meal was £68 per person.

*UPDATED* Had a fabulous pre-Christmas lunch with the elite members and guests of the Horsham Office, Gourmet Society (HOGS). As usual, the food was spectacular, and Service was 2nd to none! See you all again soon! I have eaten at the Green Man on many occasions. I was booked to dine with a lunch club this Wednesday but due to a bereavement I needed to cancel. I left a message first thing explaining that I would not be able to make it. I was delighted to receive a return call, not only acknowledging my message, but offering genuine sympathy for my situation. Amazing food, amazing service, amazing humanity!

I took my family and some friends for Sunday lunch a few weeks back after driving past this pub a few times. The food and service was excellent and I’m going back today to try the regular menu. Being a fish and seafood lover I’m keen to try what they have to offer. Kid-friendliness: Really looked after mine and our friends daughter.

Delicious food. The Pork stroganoff was like a big autumnal hug on a plate and the chicken stuffed with mango with a raspberry jus was amazing. The puddings were worth visiting for alone.

Very accommodating as we had a dog. Food was excellent, the staff made the meal even better

Well after my daughter waxing lyrical about how good the Green Man was, I was dubious. However I'm delighted to report that she was absolutely right. The staff were very good and the meal was out of this world. I hope to visit again soon ☺️

Second visit to The Green Man, first was many years ago, and it was as good as I remembered. Staff were very attentive, and looked after our table of 4 very well (even sharing one of their secret recipes). Everything we had to eat was delicious, and we all left nicely satisfied. Not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for.

Lovely location with good food. I had been wanting to come here for years having seen their fish based menu from afar and finally made the effort to visit from the US! The scallops were well cooked and the waitress was very kind and attentive, I would definitely recommend this place if you want something a bit elevated from your usual gastropub.

Always a pleasure eating here, had relaxing lunch in the garden, food was amazing and there is a nice selection of wines to choose from. Looking forward to returning soon.
