Stayed for one night and meal.
Good value and good food.
A word of warning: stairs to rooms are very steep! Very comfy once in room and much more character than a 'big chain hotel'

The Windmill Inn is just the most wonderful place to go to and stay too. The staff really are out of this world, the food is fantastic with a great choice, the atmosphere is so relaxed and comfortable and the snug bars and drinks finish off a most perfect stay! It is very popular with locals, who clearly know where to meet for drinks and/or food. Finally, a lovely log fire just adds to that cosy feeling.
Absolutely perfect and thoroughly recommended.

Went for lunch. Menu disappointing. Whilst it catered for gluten free and vegan there was nothing on there for someone watching their waist line like a salad of some sort. The menu was small which was fine but they had no beef burgers in stock . I would have thought this would be a staple !!
Service was very good.

No baby changing facilities!
Went here a couple of weeks ago on an early Sunday evening and it was pretty busy.
The service was great can’t deny that. The food was pretty good too, no complaints there.
What did shock me was the lack of changing facilities for babies. It’s clearly a busy pub and it has a kids menu! Surely they can afford to put a retractable table in one of the toilets. Instead we had to change him on a toilet floor as no other rooms were offered when we asked.

This has become my favourite place to eat close to home
The service, food and atmosphere are second to none. It is such an uplifting place to be. I havent stayed at the Inn as I live close by, but I am sure it is as great as the restaurant which is charming. Thank you to all and Happy Christmas! Tricia

I had the pleasure if spending time at The Windmill last night, with a group of friends. The food was amazing, hot served 10 all together, and the waitress went above and beyond. Merry Christmas to you all and a Happy New Year. We will be back!

Quaint old inn in a lovely village setting.
Homely bar area with a good selection of ales. Interesting menu with some old favourites and a few innovative original dishes, all obviously "Chef cooked".
The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean with everything you need for a good night's sleep.
The continental breakfast was relaxed self service with a great range to choose from.
Not a complaint, but be aware that there is an interesting staircase to the bedrooms.
We will definitely stay again.

On behalf of all of my family, I would like to say a massive thank you to all the staff. We held my Aunty's wake here and also booked out the rooms which were beautifully quaint and so comfortable. I can highly recommend the food also. There were so many delicious meals on the menu that we kept changing our minds. The staff were so friendly and helpful, I cannot recommend this Inn enough. Thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable.

Booked all 7 rooms at the beginning of October to attend a family wedding at nearby Brookfield Barn.
We ate the night before in one of the dining areas, and the food and service were superb.
The beds were super comfy and the showers piping hot.
We would thoroughly recommend a stay here.
Thank you Windmill Inn

There were nine of us! From all over the south, so the location was perfectly central for all , but also a beautiful pub and surroundings!
The food was fantastic, and they even adjusted the menu a little for me as I am a fussy pants😊! Thanks guys!
We all had a great time, the atmosphere was great and the drinks were just right!
A good selection,a really good menu very well presented and really nice staff?
Hope to visit again sometime!
Thank you all!
